M3F Sculptural Letters are a large-scale sculptural installation commissioned for M3F Music & Arts Festival 2026, situated along the waterfront at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix, Arizona (300 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85012).
Designed and produced under the creative direction of Victoria Urquidi, the installation comprises three oversized letters spelling M3F, each standing approximately 8 feet tall and weighing 300 pounds, fabricated from exterior-grade MDF layered and sandwiched around internal steel base structures.
The letters were CNC-cut by Lane Redden of 6x6 Designs to achieve a distinctive rounded, organic letterform, then assembled, primed, and painted by Victoria in the shade unmellow yellow. Structural consultation and steel base fabrication were provided by Josh Rodriguez of Two Tool Designs and Jimmy Spong of Hartco Welding.
Each letter was transported and positioned by forklift along the park's waterfront, where they became an instant landmark for festival attendees — a monumental meeting point framing the lake, the stage, and the Arizona sky. Built for longevity, the letters are designed to return to M3F year after year as a signature visual identity of the festival.
