Chain Reaction + Sadly Curated Gallery at Dusk Market 2025

A dual commission realized under Sadly Curated, Victoria's independent creative studio, for Dusk Market 2025, held at The Icehouse in Phoenix, Arizona (429 W Southern Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85041).

Operating under Sadly Curated, Victoria took on dual roles as a commissioned installation artist and as a juror for the Sadly Curated Gallery.

Chain Reaction, was a community installation made of over 2,000 linear feet of hand-made paper chains from construction paper, fabricated across a series of community events with over 15 volunteers. The paper chains were installed, and suspended from the ceiling of the Cathedral Room to transform the industrial space into a nostalgic environment anchored in collective gathering and the theme of homecoming.

Simultaneously, Victoria curated the Sadly Curated Gallery, selecting 25 local artists from 116 submissions responding to the theme of homecoming and returning to self. All artworks were installed in collaboration with Josh Rodriguez, as a site of community reflection and connection.
